Local Funeral Directors

L. Bennett & Son are a local 3rd generation Independent Funeral Directors who, with over 50 years’ experience, believe in the importance of compassion and personal touch. Our responsibilities extend beyond the immediate needs of arranging funeral services and supporting the bereaved at a very emotional time in their life. As well as funeral services, we can also provide quality funeral plans and many other services.

L. Bennett & Son was established by the Bennett family 1872.

The business has been managed by the present owners for nearly 40 years providing a caring and dignified service and serving the local community and surrounding areas.

In 2020 the business relocated to 156 Old Church Road.  We are immensely proud of our purpose built, modern facilities, offering easy access and parking for our customers.

Our Services

Funerals have changed significantly over the years, which is why we always aim to provide services that meet each and everyone’s unique requirements. During your appointment with us, we can discuss the services we offer and how we can tailor the arrangements to your wishes.
